UNU offers courses on Climate, Energy and Food Security
Overview
The United Nations University-Institute for Sustainability and Peace (UNU-ISP) announces the commencement of a certificate courses on Climate, Energy and Food Security (CEFS). The course is offered for the Fall 2012 semester under the aegis of the Asia-Pacific Initiative (API), which is a multi-university collaborative education programme. The course on Disaster Management and Humanitarian Affairs is cancelled for the Fall Semester of 2012 but will be reintroduced in Fall 2013.
The CEFS courses have been successfully implemented since 2003 and has benefitted over 500 students, from various prestigious educational institutions, who participate from their respective campuses via real-time video conferencing. Students are able to access the eCourse Management System for submitting and reading assignments, discussion forums, quizzes and other materials and activities for these courses.
A certificate will be awarded to the participants upon satisfactory completion of the course, including all assignments.

Climate, Energy and Food Security Course
The course on Climate, Energy and Food Security comprises of 15 weekly sessions, conducted from from 28 September 2012 to 25 January 2013. Applications should reach us latest by 24 September 2012.
